Our Journey

2011

PLR Projects conducted surveys in Tanzania and Zambia to identify investment opportunities in mining and allied industries, leading to the incorporation of PLR Projects Zambia Limited.

2011 – 2016

Land acquired at Pensulo Village, Serenje, Central Province — 440 km from Lusaka. Construction of the first phase 9 MVA Ferro Alloy Plant commenced, with plans to expand capacity up to 54 MVA.

May 2017

Commercial production began at the 9 MVA PLR Ferro Alloy Plant. Initial production focused on silico manganese, exported to Dubai, Japan, South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania.

2019

Construction of the second phase of the Ferro Alloy Plant with an additional 10 MVA capacity was initiated, further strengthening the company's production capabilities.
